BIO 376 - Chordate Development 3 Credits; 3 Class Hours A study of the embryological development of chordates. Topics include studies of biochemical, morphological and physiological events in differentiation and growth of cells, tissues and organ systems. Chordate evolution is illustrated by a comparative investigation. The lab will include detailed, histological and morphological studies, the development of various chordate eggs, as well as exercises in experimental embryology of living eggs.
Pre-requisite(s): BIO 202 and CHM 202 Co-requisite: BIOL 376
