ENGL 212 - World Literature: The Evolving Canon 3 Credits; 3 Class Hours This course is a survey of the evolving canon of world literature and will include selections of literature from around the world and from diverse time periods, ancient to contemporary. Students will locate these texts in a historical and cultural context and gain a sense of the development of, and connection between, literary texts across time and across cultures. Genres studied may include the epic, drama, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and folktales.
Pre-requisite: ENGL 150
